The device has a digital sim card and can be active in many countries as listed in the product description. It then generates it's own wifi hotspot that you connect to yourself form your phone and it gives you internet access. THIS MEANS YOU CAN EVEN TURN OFF YOUR MOBILE DATA WHEN YOU ARE ABROAD AND NOT WORRY ABOUT RACKING UP BILLS!!! Overall it is a lovely device to look and hold onto - it has a built in powerbank so that if you actually run out of battery on your phone/tablet the device can charge that too. Fully recommended!

Awesome, it works and easy to set up!

Easy internet connection for checking mail and limited surfing when needed. Not exactly cheep to buy or use. But it does what it should very reliably and certainly very convinient if you are a global traveller such as I. Would wish it was a little easier to see when the internet connection is "on". Gets slightly warm to the touch when in use. Start-up time is around 30 sec. Still on the 60€ included top-up card. Fairly easy to setup. Very easy to use once done.
