My laptop didn’t have a mic built in, which is weird since it had a camera built in. I had to have a mic to take the written portion of the LSAT but didn’t want to spend a lot. This did the job, installed automatically, and is small enough you can leave it there without worrying about it getting caught or bumped when packing it in a bag. This is probably showing my age, but I’m always worried when something is inexpensive. This works and doesn’t cost much. Win win

I don’t use it regularly, so it works for me. If I had to speak over a microphone more frequently, I would make another purchase. But this fits my needs

Picked this up for use with my Chuwi LarkBox Pro, which has no microphone. I'm not a regular user of Cortana, but for the few bucks this item costs, it allows me to use it. It's responsive, even though it's plugged into the back of the box. I have no idea what it might sound like for other purposes, but it's an easy solution for my use case.

Not audiophile quality. (Surprise!) But they work, albeit with some buzz/noise. For the price, not bad if you just need binary monitoring/noise trigger. Plug and play.
