I bought headphones with an integral microphone. I wanted to replace the earbuds that came with my Samsung phone. I was expecting the headphones / microphone to have a typical cell phone audio jack but they have a USB connector. I bought these adapters expecting they would make my headphones work with my cell phone.

I could tell it was trying to work, but just couldn't get quality sound from it. It was way to low and distorted. The connection was very secure as well but it did not matter.
