Pros:
It's easy to use and set up. I give a accurate viewing of what is going on. If you are using this in a dim lit room put a night light or lamp on and you will be able to see everything in detail.

Pros:has the motion detect which seems to be through the actual video itself not ir which can be trouble near a fan or around moving shadows. sound pickup is pretty descent.
Cons:could use more instructions like disabling the blue led that blinks when it starts recording.
the virus that was on the software cd that came with the box had my antivirus tweeking out and had to restart and run full scan to be sure it got it all.
Bottomline:nice idea with a great price that cannot be beat
