Pros:A mini tripod really makes it easier to do videos since you can put it almost anywhere . It also provides more stability to better prevent it from toppling over.
Cons:Not very sturdy outdoors if it is windy.
Bottomline:It's not bad if you're looking for something cheap. for outdoor use you may be better suited with a Gorilla Pot or similar travel tripod .
