I have an old Fujifilm HS50EXR that has a digital manual focus wheel, but this is very difficult to use when shooting video, to get focus pulls and adjust during a moving shot, but this little guy fits that wheel perfectly, it is lightweight and doesn't pinch the fairly squeezable focus ring when set correctly, and the longer throw makes precise movement when tracking a shot much easier. I don't know if it suits a lot of other user's needs, it depends on the lens you intend to use it with. I was hoping it was strong enough to handle the zoom, but my camera's zoom takes too much torque to move and this just doesn't have that. So remember, it is lightweight, but sturdy enough, and doesn't set you back a lot. All things considered, 5 stars from me. I'm happy.
