Works as advertised. I was definitely afraid that I would get a cheap device for such a low price. NOT SO. This is a solid battery grip. I can't compare it to its Nikon counterpart because I don't own one, but I can say that this unit exceeds my expectations dramatically. The wireless control feature is a very useful bonus that makes me wonder if I will ever get another very expensive Nikon accessory. I am now wondering if perhaps the Meike Flashes may not warrant a hard look. Short version: I love this thing! I have recently noticed a small shortcoming with the Meike DR-750. The AE-L/AF-L button on the grip does NOT follow menu programming. So, if you set the AE-L/AF-L button for AF-ON using menu item f4 the AE-L/AF-L button on the body of the camera will change its behavior accordingly. The one on the Meike grip however, will remain an AE-L/AF-L button unaffected by menu item f4. If you depend on changes to the AE-L/AF-L button behavior being made through the menu then you probably won't like the MK-DR750.

After seeing the price of the Nikon batter grip, I knew that wasn't an option. I've always been hesitant to purchase any accessory that plugs into a service port. Things can go wrong and cause damage. After seeing the reviews, I decided to give this battery pack a shot. All I can say is, it's top notch. It functions flawlessly. The wireless remote is also a big bonus. It takes a little bit of getting used to, but it really does a good job. Seeing the price, I thought this was going to feel flimsy or it wouldn't fit well. This feels like an extension of the camera and it's perfectly sung. I can't recommend this battery grip enough.

I agree with the previous review by joe. This is an excellent buy. Joe already went over the details but I will add this: the paint on this poly carbonate grip matches very close to the d750 body paint. It is ever so slightly shinier but then most people won't even notice it until pointed out. Same with the rubber on the grip. It's clean and my d750 has oils on it so the rubber on the grip is more matt. I think in time with handeling it will look the same as on the camera. Again no one else will even notice. The grip is not of metal like the original nikon grip but it's sturdy and I have no problem with it giving into to my d750 and heavy 70-200mm vr2. Weighing in at 5 pounds exactly without grip. The grip weighs 7.5 ounces and I can't even notice the weight gain when it's on, but it makes the setup so much more pleasant and easy to handle than without it. And wow it comes with remote control with timer functions?? I had a d750 with original grip from nikon. It remember it to be much heavier and the nikon 750 grip will cost you about 3$300 more and without remote. No Brainer. And all you hard core nikon people will say " yeah but if you drop it it might break because it's not metal". Well I don't give a crap... I will just buy a new one for 80 bucks haha...

This is a great bargain. Having the wireless controller is a bonus. I don't use the grip every day but when I do so, it is when I am using my heavy lenses. It is fantastic especially considering the value for a product that doesn't need professional or day-to-day use. Not as robust as the Nikon version, but it suits my needs as an amateur.

Nice added fill to the camera body and the extra battery makes it much nicer on long shoots. The built in remote trigger works nicely but the only thing about it is when you remove the batteries you need to setup the channel every time no way to program it and have it stay.
