Works great! For the quality of product you get for this price I wouldn't order anything that was more expensive. Haven't been able to break it with super long burn times or flat out stepping and sitting on it. I have baked with a simmer and seared chicken with it. Soo glad I don't need my pocket rocket style stove for all my cooking. I currently carry this with it's fuel and my pocket rocket by itself. If I need or want fuel for either on a week hike there are plenty of places to grab it. Using both on a 3 week hike/camp over made life way easier and gave me great options for cooking.

I love the compactness of it and the fact that it can store fuel inside, eliminating at least one extra supply to carry. I haven't used it in the field yet, but I did light it and boil some water with it and it performed as described. Can't wait to take it on my next hiking trip.

I received my stove today, I did a comparison test on it , between my Trangia, and Esbit stoves... I measured 1/2 oz. of denatured alcohol into each stove. I lit all 3 and timed them... The ALCOs stove, had all jets burning at 17.2 seconds, the Esbit at 21.3 and the trangie at 27.8 seconds... The burn times on 1/2 oz. of fuel was Alcos 15.6 minutes, Trangia at 14.2 and Esbit at 14.9 minutes... I was surprised on the performance of this stove...It is way less expensive than the Trangia & Esbit stoves, plus the added benefit of the stand that comes with it... I am going to test it out this weekend at 8250 FT. in low temperatures to get a feel for it.... IF it performs like my Esbit & Trangia, I will most defiantly purchase a couple more....
