I have gotten a few of these over the years and they haven't failed me yet. I mostly use them to make a way to mount a battery in various places. From cheese plates to monitor backings, this plate serves its function for me. Careful though, the P-Tap port is open enough to be able to reverse plug in a cable. Watch out for the polarity signs on the plate and cables.
