This is really a superb 31inches camera slider I was looking for. I was initially dubious with the cost of this as it was the lowest cost slider I could find, but decided to take a punt anyway. When it arrived the quality of it really surprised me. Much better than I thought it would be. It does take some practice to get a smooth even motion, but that is the fault of the user and not the slider itself. I put a touch of light oil onto mine and seems even better. The paint on the slides can easily chip and this will affect the movement, so where mine has chipped I gently rubbed it down with a very smooth emery cloth and it is back to its usual 'smoothness'.

satisfied with the product

Item exactly as described. Thank you. Will do business again.

LOVE THIS TRACK! Just tested this out for the first time and wow I'm impressed. Very smooth operation, easy to level, and interfaces nicely with my equipment. I wax able to use this in a music video for transitioning from a full shot to a mid shot and each time it worked just fine. Takes a minute to get smooth with but so long as both tripods or stands are held down and you are dedicate to moving your camera, I found this slider to be perfectly smooth. I recommend the addition of some kind of swivel head but even without that you can use standard tripods to alter your angle slightly up and down. I would DEFINITELY recommend this to a friend.

Never done a review before, and sadly my first time is only to mention the state of the product on delivery. Don't get me wrong, I like it. It's a good piece of extruded Aluminium, with a heavy anodised finish, and looks to be straight and plenty stiff enough for the job. The separate adjustable feet are perfectly adequate for what's being asked of them, although larger diameter knurled nuts would improve on the design. The slider body is plastic and lightweight but sits on the rails ok via 4 slide bearings, one of which can be pinched to the rail to provide some friction. The whole thing is a bit sloppy on the rails, but not excessively. Adding 3 more adjustment screws would solve that problem straight away. My problem is the damage to the tops of the rails which was apparent on opening the package. Not good. Quite deep dents and scratches which slice material off the bearings when the slider passes over, in 6 places along the rails. I bought the item for an urgent job, and so have no option but to repair the damage myself instead of returning it, which is obviously a little bit frustrating, as it should be sent back really. I'm not one for complaining about anything, but this has ticked me off somewhat, even though it's the first time I've ever had any issue . If you get an undamaged one I think it would be a 5 star product.
