Initial impression after one use: well, right in front, this is not a $ 700 gimbal head. This is a gimbal worth $ 50. Today is the first month of the blood moon, I rode it on a tripod with Nikon D7200 and Sigma 50-500 lenses. Configuration is quick and easy. The adjustment knob is sufficient. That weight (about 6 pounds) will not slip. The initial pan and tilt are a little stiff, but don't worry. Please note that this does not mean being a video supervisor, so if you plan to shoot a video of this you will be disappointed. It was not built for this. If you want to record a video, keep it smooth and simple. In terms of construction, yes, there is a small change, but the transaction is not broken either. I have not taken it to shoot birds in the wild, so time will show its ability to stay in this environment. Compared to using the ball head, shooting at the moon is a great advantage. So far, everything is fine. I am a serious hobbyist, not a professional photographer, so this can meet my occasional needs without exceeding my budget.
