I've only used it once so far. I've never owned any kind of lighting kit or photography equipment before, so I can't compare it to everything that's on the market. However, the whole kit is very inexpensive compared to most ring lights sold alone. So that was the initial thing that drew me to this product. I'm not a photographer. I bought this ring light so I can start posting nicer photos (of my clothing and makeup) to Instagram. I did a test shoot using my iPhone 6. The quality is so much better using the light than when I shoot with just the regular lamp lighting in my apartment. I think that's a feature that many ring lights using fluorescent bulbs lack. I'm also happy that the light included soft cloth and carrying bag. That's very hand. This product was offered to me at a reduced price, in return for an honest opinion and impartial review of the product. Overall, very pleasantly surprised at the quality considering how inexpensive it is compared to everything else on the market.
