This is a good piece of kit, very very light. I’ve been using this with a Rode NTG 5 and standard holder. The Mic assembly seems heavier than the pole. I have used it with a little carbon grease (bicycle carbon grease I had for my bikes) and it’s very smooth. The locking rings feel solid too. Indoors or outdoors it’s now my go to boom pole.

It has a strong chemical odor and I think it will disappear over time. Otherwise it is well built, durable and very light.

Did a 6 Hour Shoot with this guy over the weekend, Very Sturdy Fully Extended, Very Light Compared to Metal Poles I Used in the Past, For the Price if i ever have to replace it, it will be a no brainer to rebuy

Fits easily and safely on my existing light stands. Balance bag seems ok and clips well onto bar.
