This is a perfect kit for those looking to get into studio photography. I’ve only used my dog as a model so far, but the lighting and stands are working great. Now I just need to find some great backdrops!

Post office lost my first order, but I guess good things do come to those who wait. Arrived today and within minutes, I already had most of the lights assembled and my backdrop stand up. I can say that the backdrops will need to hang a little while to get the shipping creases out. Maybe a single fold and rolling would have been better, just an opinion. The lights are really nice and were very easy to put up. I'll buy a few extra clamps for the backdrop, but the ones supplied are really firm. After all was said and done, I had spent maybe 25-30 minutes from opening the box to taking a quick photo of one of our cats. Take-down is pretty simple too. I managed to fit everything inside the carry bag on the first try. Do save the little styrofoam clamshells the bulbs came in to help protect them in the bag. Really happy with the kit.

This is absolutely the best set of home studio or photography lighting and the price is fantastic at just over $100. It has 3 lights and one even has an adjustable boom arm and it comes with a sandbag for the counterweight. Each softbox has 4 big CFL soft glow bulbs in one light head. There is a switch in each head to turn on just 2 lamps or all 4 bulbs. The amount of bright diffused light is awesome and gives excellent coverage. I use 2 as side lights and the one on the boom arm as the subject light. This is a great set for f you are into green screen photography or videography. The lamps illuminate the green screen evenly and very well lit. Then use the boom arm to light your subject. With all 3 lights, this is all you need, not necessary to have a ring or ght on your subject, these are much better. Don't skimp on those cheaper light sets or soft boxes that only come with one lamp in each enclosure, you won't be happy. Spend a few dollars more and get this professional set..it's everything you need.
