Don't use it as much as I thought I would, but it works. Does take an additional power supply to operate.

Bought this for my mac pro 2010. In El Capitan it is not working but in Sierra it is recognized as USB 3.1 superspeed and works as expected OOB, without any drivers.

Well made PCI-Express card that does exactly what it was sold as. As long as it is hooked up to power, it charges and transfers my phone and other USB-C devices at very fast speeds. (Note: Some USB-C cables do not support fast charging or data transfer, so always check the cables before checking for issues with this card.)
