I bought this to extend the range of my WiFi to the garage. I tried repurposing wireless routers that I had lying around but that failed. I was getting 4-5 bars of signal with em, but nothing would load (youtube/Spotify/Sonos etc.) I would also just get constant drops. This extender(re220) was recommend through some researching I did online. They said that it was the best performer of those tested. I have the Tp-Link c2600 WiFi router as my main router. After pressing the WPS button on both the router and the extender, I was hooked up. It took maybe a minute. I can now get 50mbps-70mbps in it garage which is about 50 feet away from the extender's location. That's pretty damn solid. Ten outta ten, would recommend.

Looking to upgrade our home to a “smart home” with various devices that require WiFi in order to work properly had me researching for WiFi entenders due to areas in the house having little to no WiFi Once received, I had it set up and running in no time. If you can follow directions then you can have it set up in less than 20 minutes. The directions were clear and easy to understand. Once I had my first smart device running and hooked up to the extender frequency with a full signal strength, I immediately ordered a second unit for my backyard as the WiFi is weak to non-existent back there. Needless to say, once I received the second unit and had it set up and running, we can now enjoy a full strength of WiFi while sitting in the backyard relaxing.

Easy to set up. Took 5 min or less . And the range is fenomenal. I would definitely recommend. Better then any wifi extender I've bought from Walmart

Very versatile travel router. When only a wired connection is available, it creates a secured WIFI hotspot. When only a WIFI connection is available it creates a wired connection. The onboard admin software makes it very easy to switch between modes. It is so small that I can pack it along with its USB cable and Ethernet cable into a hard sided glasses case
