Really happy with this USB-C hub. This was a perfect solution for the new computer! Pros: • Solid Design: The whole Hub has some heft, the metal is seamless, brush metal feels like a MacBook body, reinforced joints. • Top speeds/quality all around: The USB ports are 3.0 data transfer, the HDMI is 4K ready, Eithernet is Gigabit... All top specs! • Warranty: Love the peace of mind. "30 day money back (any reason), 18 month quality issues, and lifetime tech. support." • USB-C charging passthrough: This is great if you have something like the new MacBook 12". Charge your mac and use the ports together. • Simple: No fiddling with drivers or programs. Plug and go Cons: • The USB 3.0 ports are not great for charging other gadgets. Notes: This brings all the essential ports back that USB-C is trying to take away: internet, second HDMI display, standard USB. If you have a number of cords, usb drives, etc. that you don't want to toss out, this is a great solution.

Just picked up a new Asus Zenbook 3 which ball-achingly only came with one USB C 3.1 I bought a great block and then when it came realised that it did not have power so I found this. Well let me tell you I dont often get excited over adapters but this is well built and lightweight. It connects to Encrypted USB's, DVD drives a HDMI Monitor, takes my power cable and runs my wireless keyboard and mouse with one little cable I need to attatch. It is much cheaper than the Asus dock and is genuinly great.

Excellent value for a product that just works. Let me start by stating (due to the multiple versions being sold) that I got the unit with the USB-C cable with the following ports: - 3 x USB 3.0 Type A, - 1 x HDMI (4K Supported but only at 30 Hz) - USB-C Female por power delivery - Gigabit Ethernet port Now that I got that out of the way, here's my review... The device just works, the transfer speeds you get from the USB A ports is not ground breaking, not any slower nor faster than the USB A ports on the laptop. The HDMI port works well, my second external monitor worked straight in, and I have not experienced any issues what so ever. I do not have a USB power supply for the laptop so I have not tried the Power Delivery function, but I'm sure it will just work too. Construction quality and materials are top notch, surprisingly good for the price that I paid. At the time of the review is the most complete and cheapest one on amazon. 100% would recommend it to anyone with a laptop with USB-C.

I recently bought this gadget and did not use it for a long time. I just want to say in couple of words that it's working fast and without problems with our Windows laptop and I have not found any flaws of this hub yet.The device was packed in a nice double cardboard box. In the box was packed the USB-C hub with great quality and with an aluminum housing. It has a rather strong USB-C cable with a length of about 13.5 cm which has a beautiful metal USB-C plug. In the box there also were an instruction manual and a little memo card for invitation for welcome to join the dodocool members and a warranty registration. In general, it's a good portable device to get from one USB-C port three USB 3.0 ports, 1x Power delivery 3.0 port, 1x 4K video HD output and one RJ45 Gb Ethernet adapter port.
