So first off, I was an idiot, and decided I was gonna assemble this thing just by looking at it. BAD IDEA. DO NOT DO. The order of assembly is both counter-intuitive and absolutely critical. They did include an extra switch and button, which I ended up not needing, but thought was a nice touch. I dinged off a star because 5-star reviews are never real, and the sealing paper was an absolute nightmare to get off. It came off clean, but getting it started without scratching the plastic underneath was a challenge. Was this the product's fault? Likely not, I feel like all cut PC is like that, but it's still something you should be aware of. Ugh, my thumbnails hurt just thinking about it

I had to trial and error it a couple times because I jumped right in without looking it up first but it eventually came together well enough. It's not a perfect fit and once assembled the tolerances seemed pretty tight. May have to nudge over some components to get them to line up and sit in the cutouts properly. I ended up with one extra piece unless I did it wrong, but IDK how else it would have came together. The end result was where the buttons just baarely work without needing to use a fingernail. Overall it was worth it to not have to bootleg an enclosure for it, and was easy enough to then attach a small power board to the acrylic case. Instead of using a 9v I'm running it from a 4.2V lithium and boost driver to get 9v, and recharge the lithium with micro USB. With the average boost converter efficiency that draws about 300mA from the battery. No super extra run time there in comparison to the 9v but it's easily rechargeable.
