This little battery tester worked well within a month, so I used it. I bought this battery tester specifically to test the 4 brand new D-type batteries for the non-contact trash bin I just bought. The lid sensor stopped working after a year and a half, so I replaced the batteries with 4 new batteries. The sensor still didn't work properly, I was going to throw away the trash can, but then I decided to buy this battery tester first. I did not expect that there would be a problem with 4 brand new copper-top batteries, but it turned out to be the case
