As described, and on time delivery.

They are a little tough to put on and I switched up the adjustable bolt to be top mounted rather than bottom. Also the largest size barley fit my size 11 boots. However, they did perform well in ice, slushy/ rocky ice conditions. I wouldn't recommend glacier hiking with these.

I am very impressed with these crampons. They appear to be well made and on 4 trips with them in ice and snow in rough terrain they performed fine. One adjustment fit 2 different styles of hiking boots, a lighter pair and a heavier boot without needing any more adjustments. The straps, while a little tricky with bulky gloves do not slip once set. For the price i paid, under $22 they are well worth the money. If i were doing serious ice wall climbing I might e inclined to go with a pair of black diamond or similar build but for everything else you simply can't do better. (I would reserve 5 start for a pair of Black Diamond Sabertooth crampons that cost $150)

I bought these for walking ski/snowshoe trails, when they are icy and not worthy of skis, or snowshoes.. They work, used them 3 times, an hour each time, roughly 10 miles total... They are not fancy, but they did not break, nor do they show any real signs of ware, which is amazing because I'm 220lbs.. The strap is easy to figure out. Not sure on the life expectancy of the plastic by to toe or heal, but hey, for less then $40 they are awesome! If your going to go mountaineering, in a far, far away place, where you life literally depends on your gear, probably go with $150+ black diamonds.. They arrived two weeks earlier than they were scheduled to, so that was cool.. All in all, good trail crampon.

I have used these crampons to winter hike in the hills of central PA. They worked well on the very steep hill sides of this region, in a combination of deep snow, crusted snow and ice. They did cut the heck out of my gaiters. But that is my fault.
