Basic solar charge controller, functions as expected, instructions are pretty much useless and the usage of the unit is pretty self explanatory, the included instructions are actually indicative of a MPPT charge controller when this unit is a PWM. I would say the only thing I don't like about it is that there is no manual on/off or controls/settings but again this is a basic charge controller - minimalist. So far no problems with it, will update review if anything changes after further use. Using it with two 20 watt panels in parallel.

I bought two of these (30A model) both of which seem to work just fine right out of the box. These are just like most other PWM charge controllers that cost 2 or 3 times this price. If you know the basics about solar, batteries or DC voltages then setting this up is super easy and straightforward. The wires from your solar panel go into the Solar on the left, the voltage going out to charge the battery is in the middle and the output to the loads (such as an inverter, or other 12volt item) is on the right. The receptacles fit about 10awg wire size max into them and tighten down using a small flathead screwdriver. I have one connected to 3x 12volt 100watt panels in parallel. I used this to recharge a 12volt 50ah AGM battery that was about half discharged and it seems to have fully recharged the battery just fine. The front casing is plastic the back panel seems to be aluminum to which the internal MOSFETs are heatsinked onto. I would recommend further mounting the rear metal surface onto more metal and having a small fan set up next to this when running over 100 watts during the day to prevent overheating but this is also the case for other PWM controllers as well. Overall it's simple, a good price and it works.

All Good Thanks
