 Love it! This little wireless IR controller / receiver is super cool - makes my house a little extra tech geeky! Basically, it combines all of your devices that are controlled by IR/RF signals (almost every remote) into one nice central location. You download a free app to your phone (or tablet, or whatever) and program in all of your devices to the unit itself. You can then use the app as one massive, house-wide remote. COOL. I've got my air conditioner remote, entertainment systems and LED lights around our stairs on it and I'm currently programming in even more. It's really nice to be able to use your smartphone as the remote replacement for everything. Pretty impressive reception throughout the house, good packaging and simple to use! Very cool device that I've used to wow my friends when they were over at my house. Like that you can get this to sync with your AC/HEAT so you can just control it from your phone. Lots of different things that this what would great for. Lots of fun too just playing around with it.

This smart IR controller can control basically anything that transmits IR/RF signals like your TV remote. You can combine all the remotes into one location on like your tablet/smartphone so you have the ability to control it anywhere at anytime. The setup is very easy to get it going. Basically all you do is power on the Broadlink device either using the wall adapter or by plugging it into a USB port. Download the app and follow the steps which will get you connected. There are a wide variety of different devices that you can use this for it just really depends on what you have.
