We saw a clock like this at an AirBNB and my husband and son-in-law just loved it. I was happy to find this one at a pretty good price, so I bought one for each of them. The base of the clock has a good weight to it so it isn't top heavy. It keeps very good time. Two of the number flaps had come out of place during shipping, but were easy enough to put back in place. The only thing we aren't thrilled about is the fact that it runs on a D sized battery. We would have preferred one that plugged in.
