We have been using it since we got it two months ago. No complaint so far. We used to have cloth ones as the outside layer and I think I still slightly prefer cloth. But the plastic also has some advantages. This doesn't get moldy easily. One thing I've been having problems is that it gets to get off the hooks a bit too easily which is a bit of an annoyance.

I combined this with a bendable ceiling shower track to produce a tiny shower space in a remodeled half-toilet which was slightly lengthened to get enough space. The curtain is a nice bright solid white with a water resistant material. I have a clear plastic liner behind it though so I can't say 100% it is water resistant - but so far it has held up great and without mold. Once you get it out of the package the curtain will be very wrinkled - I steamed mine to get the smooth wrinkle free look. NO MORE GREAT LENGHT IF YOU'RE HAVING THIS PROBLEM- THANK YOU

Best shower curtain I ever had, no smell of any chemicals whatsoever, which I was worried about, my last shower curtain was 100% cotton, but it would grow mold some even though I used a dehumidifier in the bathroom, this shower curtain will save a lot of money on electricity since I wont have to use the dehumidifier anymore, wish I found this a long time ago.
