Am not real good about flossing. In fact, I hate the chore, but, I fully appreciate the benefits from flossing. Well, this model works remarkably well. I haven't had it that long but my dentist has already commented about the improvement. I have no complaints as to the effectiveness of this little machine. IT IS a plug in unit so no using it in the shower. Recommendations?--- There IS a learning curve for those who (like me) have never used one. The wand has a thumb control shut off -be sure to use it---or...well, you'll find out. Don't swallow. Stand over the sink for sure. One other thing I guess: I use filtered water that has been warmed to tepid and then put into the units reservoir. I personally like the addition of about a quarter cup of Listerine to the water. I hope this helps.

The only regret I have is not buying this sooner! I guess I underestimated the value of a water flosser because I've been using regular floss for ages, but since getting a permanent retainer put in, it's been a huge ordeal trying to floss thoroughly. To be honest you begin to cut corners with time and location because of it, but this flosser was the answer! There are a bunch of different connections and brushes that it comes with. The power of the jet is also really good, think of it like pressure washing your teeth and gums. The water tank is a little small, but the trade off is a smaller footprint on your counter space. You can definitely get a good floss on one tank but I typically use two. There is really no easy way to use this and not splash a little water, but the clean you see and feel is addictive. This was a great buy for the price compared to the other big names out there. I am truly a customer and user for life now. Get it and see for yourself, Cheers!

When my water pik stopped working I was hesitant on ordering this one at half the price. I was in for a surprise when I got it. It works beautifully and is just as good as the more expensive. I’m happy I got it.

After a recent change, my new dentist suggested a water flosser for me, since I am historically an inconsistent flosser with string floss. This thing is a revelation and I wish my old dentist had told me about this type of flosser years ago. Aesthetically, it has a fairly small footprint, more tall than wide, which is nice because I have very limited space on my bathroom counter, and all of the attachments are stored in the lid, which is very convenient and space-saving. The motor is noisy, I guess, but it is a motor, so... I only use it for 2-3 minutes a day, so I don't consider that an issue or something I'm worried about, to be honest. Functionally, it has an adjustable speed dial, so you can adjust the speed of the water jet to your comfort level quite easily - I started off at the lowest level and have worked my way to medium speed - and a 20 oz. reservoir tank. I fill it up all the way, and use the entire tank in one session, which is about 2 minutes. I actually feel like it cleans between my teeth much better than string floss, it's really helped me to get into a good, solid dental routine, and I can see a noticeable difference in my gums, which look much healthier than they did before. You can buy a more expensive model or brand, but why? This Homgeek flosser has been a great value for the money and I couldn't be happier with it.

This machine works great. My mouth feels so clean like just coming from dentist office. The machine us the the right size for my small counter in bathroom. Love it has different heads for more cleaning
