I bought these as a last ditch effort to darken our bedroom. Husband works overnights and sleeps during the day, and all the blackout curtains let light in around the edges and top, and we had to staple and tape them down in ugly makeshift ways. These fit right inside the window frame and are a think material that completely blocks all light. What a lifesaver, I feel silly for not thinking of buying something like this years ago! I did see some people say the adhesion wasn't the best, we don't touch or raise them ever and haven't had issues so far.

I bought these for my LO's nursery because there's a ton of afternoon sun hitting the window. It works great! I use them behind light-blocking fabric curtains in the nursery and also decided to try in my bedroom since light was getting around curtains. I'm a night shift nurse so the darker I can get my room during the daytime, the better I sleep. It doesn't cover the entire width of my windows but since I use with curtains in both rooms it doesn't bother me too much. It is not very pretty to look at but it does the trick. Highly recommend if you have a baby that won't nap because of a bright nursery or if you work the night shift and need daytime sleep. Great price for a great job blocking light.

My child’s room has three windows and the remaining three blinds I had were able to cover all the windows. These are easy to cut and use. With some tape to help they are a quick, cheap and easy way to darken a room. A little light still snuck in on the edges where I couldn’t get it to align perfect and where I had to add a second panel to cover a wide window, but overall it does a really good job. I placed these on the glass panes of the window and have blinds installed over them. Over the blinds I have trash bags to cover the last tiny bit of light that comes through the cracks and blackout curtains on top of it all. My child’s room is pitch black day or night and really makes a huge difference in his sleep environment!

The best feature is the room darkening / blackout ability of the shades. If you cut the width of the shade to the exact width of the inside of the window, absolutely NO LIGHT will get though. It's great for sleeping in, or if you work nights like I do sometimes, and need to sleep during the daytime.Definitely worth the price. Enjoy!

I bought these for my bedroom so my husband could sleep better when working. It's great for me because they are going to be VERY easy to wipe down, dust and clean! The only thing I would change if possible is to add a clip or something at the bottom that would allow you to put them up some of desired.
