Bottomline: I'm still writing a review even thought it was the wrong item for me. from what i can tell, the build quality on this item is excellent. cheap price cable, but the material isnt that cheap itself.

Cons:I have a SONY TV and a Lenovo laptop, ThinkPad T61p. I used the this cable connect to the VGA port
of my laptop and the component jacks of my TV. The TV screen flashing
