excellent pedal, exactly the sound i was looking for.

I like to use a looper pedal, but in doing that, my leads wouldn't be strong enough to rise over the rythmn track. This pedal gives that boost for leads. Simple.

I bought this to stack in front of my Green Mile, but once i got it on my board, it replaced my Green Mile. If you are a cleanish, creamy-crunchy fan, and have a decent tube amp, this may be just up your alley. With just enough preamp gain to almost break up, this little gem will push it where it needs to go for those solo ending tantrums. But it won't get you to Jimmi-SRV, ear-grinding level... which is just right for me. To each his or her own, i suppose. Glad i found this.

A clean boost is incredibly important for all genres of music, especially if you have passive pickups - and this one sounds great. I use with with the volume and gain maxed into an Orange amp and it has a wonderfully fat, warm, distorted sound.
