Prompt delivery, well packaged - thanks.

This is the third guitar rest I have purchased since I discovered the comfort/stress reduction advantages of sitting with both feet flat on the floor and letting a guitar support hold the guitar in a good playing position. The single suction cup of this unit allows the guitar position to be set with neck up angle, some rotation of the guitar around the neck axis and a good bit of variation in placement on the leg (I use it on my left leg exclusively and play right handed); I like the flexibility in positioning a lot. The suction cup has an "application lever" that drives the suction assembly tighter when a final position is decided. It holds well for hours but will eventually release when the guitar is placed on a stand or hanger for longer periods. I suspect that may be because the units very large suction cup (2.125 inch diameter) will always encounter much more guitar curvature variation that the smaller cups that are typical of such supports. That is not a reason to disqualify this unit, it just means that repeating your "perfect" positioning will take a bit of time at each use.

Holds bottom of guitars well if you moistent slightly with finger. More resonance and sustain, especially in the bass of my dreadnought and mini. Very noticable with my classical guitar. Used with an armrest.

It is very good idea product. I use it whenever I play a guitar, it helps to lift the guitar head up and able me to straight up my posture. Only down side of the product is suction is not strong enough to hold its own. While I rest the guitar with leave it on, it fell off every time after few minutes.

It works for what it was made for. Depending on how glossy your guitar finish is will determine how well it sticks. If you have a high gloss then no problems. If you have a low gloss finish then it will occasionally fall off. All in all it is good
