The ukulele has great sound. The bag is not a safe way to transport the uke, the app does not hear half the cords you play, and there is no way to skip ahead if you are not a beginner. Disappointed.

Great idea. Would definitely help you learn faster. I have to strum multiple times before it detects though which makes it pointless.

Our 11yo daughter LOVES this ukulele! She loves listening to music and picking out tunes on her little keyboard, but won't agree to take lessons. She saw Populele on a popular YouTube video that she watched over and over, so we gave it to her for her birthday. At the end of the first weekend, she was playing multiple chords. A month later, she's coming up with her own little songs. The instrument is nice quality, the app helps her tune it before each lesson, challenges her skills and speed, and helps her play along to actual songs very early -- she felt great to play along to a song so quickly. I cannot believe how awesome it has been at keeping her engaged in playing and improving. We appreciate that it has strap knobs so we can get her a traditional guitar strap, because she's not used to the instrument sliding around. Highly recommend this cool kit!
