Triangle Big Muff Clone? Absolutely no idea. I just needed a small box fuzz & got lucky. I have a few other fuzzes (including a couple reissue Muffs), but nothing this small. I needed one this size & bought the cheapest fuzz with the best reviews. I have an afford-a-board for everyday garage/basement jamming & (before the current pandemic, at least) to throw in the car and go hang out with other middle aged dads in their garages. This thing is a beast. It's fuzzy even with the gain all the way down. It can be noisy, but this isn't one that (like a fuzz face for example) you need to turn all the way up. Very flexible EQ as well.

I'm using this with Korg electronic synthesizers rather than guitar, so keep that in mind. This makes the synth scream in just the way I want. Crunchy velcro freakout sound with the fuzz dial maxed out. It is noisy, to the point where when I'm not actively making a note, I need to turn the pedal off, and I tried adding a noise gate pedal after, but this thing is so noisy that the soft synth notes would also get cut off. I tried a Joyo mini fuzz, which had a "nicer" sound that I could dial in, which means it sounded more polite, and that is not what I wanted, but the Joyo was also just as noisy with the synth. I tried running power through a battery with a power jack rather than the AC outlet, and that didn't change anything with either pedals. So even though I'm annoyed at the noise and having to turn the pedal off when not playing the synth, I am still glad to keep it because the gnarly sound it makes is really enjoyable to me. I haven't been able to get this kind out of freaked out fuzz sound with my Headrush pedalboard or the Line 6 hd500x or the Boss GT-1000.

This pedal is perfect for anyone who is tired of spending a lot of time tweaking their distortion pedal only to find a barely satisfactory tone. This pedal has a great tone in both settings and the settings don't really sound that much different from each other. The modern setting is bit more tighter and biting tone , the classic is bit more wide open. Either setting sounds really good . Both settings very heavy distorted , nice tone ,saturation and sustain. It's my main pedal now.

I got it based on the YouTube channel 60 Cycle Hum, and it's a nice flavor of fuzz to add to your collection.

At this price point, this pedal exceeds expectations. Can get anything from a slapback type sound, to some ambient log delays. No noise, seems sturdier than expected, and takes up barely any real estate on my board. If you need a simple, straight forward delay, you can not go wrong with this pedal.
