This ligature works/fits beautifully! It allows the reed to Freely vibrate giving the horn a nice jazzy sound. After playing for an hour or so, I quickly ordered another one. The Cap fits well as long as the reed and ligature are on the mouthpiece. Otherwise it's too big. All in all, I totally recommend this item!

I saw these leather ligatures for around $25 and kept looking and found this one for around $12 so I bought it thinking I found a bargain. I bought this Andoer which in my mind, as I was in a hurry, sounded like Rovner. Looking closely at the pictures, they are different. My experience with the leather ligature is it's hard to put on straight and I don't like to use it. I'd rather just use the cheap standard brassy metal one that came with the horn. I have nothing to gain from this review and it costs precious time. Good luck.

Seems to work great. I took a chance and ordered it to try a non metal ligature. So far so good. I bought it in hopes that it would fit the Rico Metalite I just bought and it works great! If it holds up, I don’t know why anyone would buy the more expensive Rovners.
