Compact tester with many fucntions for the battery test, gives so much information, starter and alternator status, the large display is clear and shows the data well, read menu structure takes all the hassle out of battery checking, this is a great investment and performs as well, overall the tester has a long lead and the build quality is decent.

This battery tester is good for a basic test to determine whether the battery is at fault or some other piece of the charging system. A more advanced test will require more specialized equipment. I wish it had a more secure method of attachment than alligator clips, which might account for some of the randomness in the tests. The manual seems to have been translated from another language making it less than perfect, but playing around in the menus is pretty straightforward.

This tester is so useful. I recently had to test, charge, and reinstall a car battery a couple of times because we couldn’t get t to the root of the problem right away. That’s what made me start looking for a tester that would tell me more than just the battery’s voltage.

great battery tester I have used it on a few batteries and it worked so that is a bonus 👍 I get it checked against a industrial tester to see how good it is at a later date
