I have received portable auto GPS from TOMTOP 1 day after ordering online. The GPS came in a hard cover box. The GPS was secure sealed and not broken. I tried it the same day. Here are my findings: What I liked: - free lifetime updates for North America map. - has 66 channels(location search) 22 channels (tracking) - has big 7 inch capacitive screen.- slim design- has well working Text-to-Speech, Lane Assist, Voice Command and Turn-by-turn guidance - uses USB for charging. Its very convenient as you can get now USB charger for cars - has micro SD card slot for other / more maps

I purchased this as a gift for a friend that drives semi trucks. He has been using it for over a month now and he seems to really like it. I have read some of the other reviews and so far haven't had any of the the problems other say there is with this gps unit. I was able to download all the updates through my computer very easily. He really likes the size of the display and how easy the touch screen is to use.

This is the first and only GPS Navigator I have ever owned. We used it on a recent vacation trip and were very much pleased with it. We entered our final destination, a stop at a BBQ place we wanted to visit on the way and it worked like a champ. It has a place you can press if you want it to repeat directions .It was easy to hook up to my Windows 7 computer to update maps, etc. and using it on the road was easy to figure out. There is a back button which comes in handy if you push the wrong screen. I probably said "This thing is cool!" 10 times on our trip! The price was good, and I'm very satisfied.

We had no problems with it at all and found the features to be very handy. The pictures make your route extremely clear and the color choices available make the screens easy to see no matter whether it's day or night. If you need a great, easy to understand GPS with a lot of features, this is the one for you

This was my first time ever having a navigation system, I know that I could've used my cellphone,but chose not to. This gps is my best friend. When my sister and I went to travel two weeks ago we got around fine. love it.
