I have only put four stars as the instructions are limited with the item and I cannot make the playback operate on the screen. Having said that, it could be my fingers! It takes individual photographs and the video recording works in the segments as I have played it back on my computer. So, even if it didn't work exactly as advertised, I know that it is recording, which offers great peace of mind. In one of our cars, which has a light headlining, the camera is not readily visibly and it is possible to not focus on it an view the mirror. On another car, with dark headlining, the camera view is constant, but again, it is possible to focus on the rear view, but it is more difficult. The benefits of having the camera far outweigh any disadvantage. Here in France, the Summer temperature in the car would be too high to leave it fitted. It would be better left in the glove box. The package comes with plenty of wiring to enable you to fit it around the windscreen and run it out of site to a suitable plug. Additionally, it comes with a rear view camera. However, this needs to be fitted to the outside of the car, perhaps close to the number plate. I can see where one wire will plug into the back of the unit, but there are no instructions for the other two wires. I'm assuming to live and to earth. However, I wasn't expecting the rear view camera to be included in the package, so that is a bonus, should I decide to use it. I will buy another to leave one permanently in each car. Already, I have seen and recorded very poor driving. I'm confident that it will help us positively, should we be in the unfortunate position of having to use it. You will need to buy an SD card to go with it.

AL PRINCIPIO TUVE UN PEQUEÑO PROBLEMA CON LA SD, DE TANTO EN TANTO NO LA DETECTABA. TENIA QUE SACARLA Y VOLVERLA A PONER. AL CAMBIAR LA DE 64GB QUE TENIA PUESTA POR UNA DE MENOS GB TODO HA IDO PERFECTO. MUY CONTENTO CON LA COMPRA
