Good as expected. Fair for its price

Installed this unit in a 2000 Nissan Altima with Metra adapter 70-7550. Took me 15 minutes to make the connections between the Metra and this unit’s harness. Had to use few self drilling metal screws to connect the unit to the Factory mount. Since Nissan cars don’t have ground wire on the wiring harness, had to connect the ground wire for the radio by identifying a new ground location instead of connecting to cigarette lighter socket ground. Took about 15 minutes to put it back together. The FM stations work great. My iPhone 6S+ connected within seconds and I was able to play music and make/receive calls. Call quality is surprisingly decent.

This thing had great reviews and even though I was still skeptical I gave it a shot. For under $16 it was worth a chance. I have had it installed about a week and I am VERY PLEASED with this stereo. For starters, since it has no CD player it is very light. It installs easy and operating it is easy to figure out. The Bluetooth works great and the sound quality is better than I expected. Phone calls on it are clear and the person on the other end said they could hear me clearly without me having to talk louder due to road noise. I would definitely buy again!

I was skeptical of the radio at first because of the price then when it came it was smaller than normal ones but after being hooked up it is great!! Everything works great on it. I am glad I purchased this radio I am fully satisfied with it

I decided to wait until I had installed it and used it for a little while before I left a review. I am pleasantly surprised that this inexpensive Bluetooth stereo works as well as it does. The sound is really good and the power behind it seems to be plenty. It was easy to install and yes, I did it myself and this is the first time I have ever installed a stereo!! I would definitely recommend this sweet deal of a Bluetooth stereo to anyone! So glad I was able to find one at a decent price!!!

  • QAccording to the dimensions, this unit is 10mm (1cm) wider than the aperture in my Subaru Forester. Does anyone know if Subarus require a special sized radio? Thanks!
