i only used this as a screen for my reversing camera so cant comment about the sound quality at all and when you wire up the camera make sure its only live when the car is in reverse (power from gear leaver or wire to the reversing lights) as it overrides all the other functions and controls otherwise which is fine for me as it was only being used for the rear camera but may cause others issues if they wish to use the rest of the stereo's functions and audio capabilities
