Damaged on arrival, item had clearly been dropped before being packaged. Seller offered a partial refund and we are happy with the product. The app doesn't always function as expected and is a little awkward to use but i have been regularly recording and exporting to google fit without issue. Product looks great. The baby weigh function is a great feature to have included.

Great idea. Was fairly easy to pair with all the family’s IPhones and set up profiles for each member. The only reason I’ve marked it down on stars is that every now and then the Bluetooth connectivity gets lost and it’s such a faff to have to take batteries out or flick the switch between the weight measurements to reset the connection.

Scales work well but instructions minimal and not clear, had to search the web to clarify. Found Bluetooth connection difficult to achieve and unreliable. Wifi connection works fine.

I was just after a set of smart scales for the bathroom when I came across these by Koogeek. I decided to get these since they allow you to keep track of your results on your phone or tablet and can be connected both via Bluetooth and Wifi. Stepping on the scales for the first time yielded a result which was wildly inaccurate and I realised that they don't work very well on Carpeted surfaces. I put them on a flat surface and they worked perfectly and consistently every time. If you don't want to use the body analysing features, you just stand on it to turn it on and it measures you in about 2-3 seconds and displays your weight in either Kg or Lbs (There's a switch in the rear battery compartment that can change units). After about 30 seconds it powers off to save the battery. The display is really nice and well lit. It's very easy to see even in very bright environments. Now if you want all the other stuff, (BMI/BMR/Body Fat/Muscle Mass/Hydration/Visceral Fat) you'll have to download the Koogeek Smart Health app from the Play Store. I found this a bit hit and miss and although we have 6 phones in the house, all above Android 4.3, it seemed only to install on 4 of them. Of those 4, it only seemed to sync data across Bluetooth and Wifi with two of them. I have gone through the settings on each phone and looked at the Bluetooth Versions and can't seem to see why it doesn't work on all devices, it's very strange (They all have Bluetooth > 4.0). Luckily for us, we only needed it to work on one device to capture the data but I have mentioned this to the seller in case I can somehow provide them with information for them to iron out this bug. I will update this review if any more useful information comes to light. Once you have downloaded the app, you create an account (Just enter your email and create a password). You can stay logged into this account through the app on multiple devices, so that way you can all see each others results and weights. If someone steps on the scale and there are multiple devices paired to it, it will store the data in an unrecognised category and prompt whoever opens the app to assign it to any one of 16 users who can be programmed in. Each user has to enter in a few bits of information like name, height and goal weight etc. The app is laid out fairly well and everything is easy to navigate. You can choose to connect the Scale to your device through Bluetooth or Wifi, using your home broadband router. Both worked well but I preferred the Bluetooth connection. This is very easy to do, providing your device is compatible with it (See above). It should only take 5-10 seconds. To begin the weighing process, you must then ensure the app is open and Bluetooth is turned on. Stepping on the scale will cause the app to switch over to the weighing screen and it will display your weight as it is being measured. A few seconds later it will capture and record your other body statistics which you can view through the app which has them conveniently listed and can be viewed on a graph. Once everything was working, we found it quite easy to use and everything is included to get you started such as batteries and instructions. You do need to pull the tab from the battery connectors to ensure everything is powered, but it also says this on the tab too. If you have other Koogeek products this same app allows you to sync and view all that other data too, such as blood pressure and steps taken through the day. So this completely meets my needs and is priced very well. It weighs and analyses body measurements like it should and everything is kept and recorded on the app in the cloud. Everything can be viewed from any device which has the app and you can easily track your progress. One of the most important statistics given is visceral fat which is the kind of fat that is the most dangerous so it's good to see how this is trending. Each time it displays a statistic it also displays where the value should be for a healthy person and so gives you a guide as to what your values mean. All values are given in percentages, except your weight which is either given in Kg or Lbs. Happy to recommend if you have similar needs - one star knocked off until the application compatibility bug is ironed out, patched or better explained.
