The surface is mainly made of plastic, but still leaves a deep impression. The explosion is almost inaudible, and you will always use it in music anyway. It seems very professional, that's why I give clear buying advice!

Get the RGBW model I got one of these from another vendor same light its really cool only gave it 4 stars because the stepper motors make a loud screeching sound after a while its not a big deal and not so loud you would hear it over decently loud music doesn't affect operation at all besides that its a really cool light sound active sensitivity is ajustable so it can work well sitting on a speaker at low volume and you can turn it up for a club type environment in fog it looks really cool think old school helicopter style light but 4.0 multiple units would look incredible

This is a great light. My only issue was that I had to drill-out the hole in the bracket to mount to my lighting truss because the hole was too small for the bolts on my ADJ O-Clamps to pass through. Luckily I tried to test mount/run this light before my event because I simply would not have taken a drill with me.

Bought one of these and it’s a nice light but can’t seem to get sound activate to work. If anyone knows the trick help me out. Mine came broke still working out that details. Was damaged in shipping
