I have a pond with ducks. It is easy pick'ens for the bobcat and mountain lion that roam through here. They took out 10 ducks, 2 geese and 6 chickens. I put this and another similar kind of unit on a post (4 total) at the end of the dock each aiming 90 degrees differently. It was a long shot but we have not lost any animals since I put it in over a year ago.
