This is considered one of larger type lanterns. Each lantern measures about 11" high (or 14" if you count the wire handle). I sometimes hang them in my backyard, dinner table, or my outdoor steps. These lanterns need plenty of sunlight to get a good charge out of them. The solar top panel absorbs the sun and recharges the battery inside to run the lights at nighttime automatically. I like the warm glow the lantern gives off at night. Sets the mood. The only dislike is the bronze color fades to brushed silver over time from being out in the sun. This looks great on my patio. It's very well engineered. UPDATE: A few days after it arrived, the switch malfunctioned and I couldn't get it to light up anymore.

Not as bright as I thought it would be however enjoyable to see hanging near our porch.

I really like this lantern, I hung it on my back patio. It’s so nice to have a light that looks like a lit candle burning all night and I never have to replace the batteries because it’s solar powered. I was concerned when it rains if the light would be affected but even in pouring down rain it has continued to work. This is an excellent purchase.

This lantern looks antique and rugged. I have contemporary furniture so I wasn’t sure if I should use it or not but the first night it lit up, I was surprised to see that it flickers like the real candle fire. It’s beautiful warm orangish light makes it look like real fire. It’s amazing. I’m keeping it :)
