NOTE: 80 Watts is how much power it consumes in the AC side of things. The lamp output is stated at 50Watts. Misleading power statement. Everyone wants to know how bright the light is, not the power consumption.

Worked great out of the box. Seems like a solid light. Just learning and this seems like a good entry-level light for the price. Put it in test mode and everything works fine. Then hooked it to my DMX board and just ran threw the basics.

Very Bright... the best of my litter. Fast and seemingly well built. My only fault is the manual... full of errors and a very poor listing of the DMX functions... I would buy it again but I sure hope the vendor reads this and improves the manual.
