8gb is the perfect storage size. I scan photos for friends onto these drives and use them as gifts and give-aways. The lanyards are a very nice addition, and my friends know at a glance that they came from me.

Nicely-made thumb drive with swivel cap, which is definitely better than a removable (losable!) cap. Write speed on large files (1GB+) was an average of 8 MB/S, read speed slightly above specs at just over 21 MB/S. LED activity light is a nice little touch. Price is good for capacity, though I'd be more inclined to buy more if there were a 10-pack at a lower cost per unit (this is the quantity I normally buy at any one time).
