We bought the pen reader after my daughter was diagnosed with dyslexia. With a little help from a pen, she is able to read books that are on her above average intelligence level even though the books might be slightly above her reading level. This allows her to choose books that are more interesting to her and keeps her more enthusiastic about reading.The sleek fit and finish helps her think of it as a 'cool' device instead of an embarrassing one. She really wants to take it to school to show it off, but we are afraid someone will want to steal it.
