The copter itself seems to be fine but it arrived with no instructions, and it would not take off. Thanks to the internet we were able to find tutorials and discover that the reason it wouldn't take off was as the propeller blades had been fitted incorrectly from the factory. After removing them and adding them correctly, it now functions properly. As this was a Christmas present for my son, the wasted time and frustration, (and anxiety it may not work at all), was unpleasant.

So, the first one I bought I lost in 24 hours (outside), and it was so fun a placed an order for two more. I have to say, I really REALLY like these but won't buy another. BOTH of the two purchased had the Front-Right motor stop working after nominal use... Opening up there are to leads from the motor to board that are veryyyy delicate and thus pop-solder. I can't really give the "go-ahead" to anyone on these because of how unreliable they are. Remotes are the same story; bought 3 and 2 are lousy.

Cute little quad copter. Slight learning curve to fly well, but that's what makes it fun. It hit the ceiling in my office and now one of the rotors doesn't spin. So its useless. But for 12 bucks its hard to expect more. Would like a little better build quality.
