This prop guard is great, and better than the one that comes in the box. Stronger protection, and it pinches onto the legs, rather than going over the battery, so it won't ever ride up and run the propellers like the other prop guard can. The blades that also come with it are terrible and hardly worth using. They fly off in all directions if I land even somewhat hard. Buy this for the prop guard, but just don't count on the blades being useful.

Everyone I asked who has a Hubsan STRONGLY suggested the 'forked' type of blade protector over the ones that slide over the motors. The latter are known to work loose and place drag on the blades which quickly draws your battery down. Also they require removing the propellers. The blade protector in this kit snaps onto the open parts of the motors, stays put, and you don't have to remove the blades to install or remove it. Also it provides overhead protection.

I just wanted to try this guard as it snaps on and has a little more structural protectioni. Its hard to see from the picture but the cross guard that goes across the center is raised like an arch giving the top even more protection, not just the edges like the normal hubsan guard. Can't go wrong for the price, the price is cheap and would pay for the guard but you get a few props and prop puller as well, so good purchase.

I fly mostly indoors and this protector has been great. I like this propeller protector for my Hubsan H107L since it has the cross bars that span over the top of the quadcopter; protecting it when it hits the ceiling. the propellers and tool are just a bonus.shipping is much faster than was estimated. No install instructions included or were necessary. it just clips around the plastic motor mounts of the quadcopter's frame.
