Just ok

This is supposed to be able to find small spy cameras by using a series of flashing red LEDs and looking through a red filter for reflections from hidden camera lenses. It not only fails at this, it isn't even using technology that would be able to do that. BUT - the RF detection function does work. It detects wireless intercoms, routers, walkie talkies, and most of the RF devices used in a home or business. It's still a toy, but I find it useful for testing these items quickly.

its ok

Why does my box mention 100Mhz-3000Mhz detection when the item description mentions frequency detection range (1MHz-6.5GHz)?

I'm not sure if mine is defective or the design is flawed. In movies the antenna is the sensitive part, mine is only sensitive in the base of the unit and the antenna seems irrelevant. The knob adjusts sensitivity, but it is a tiny, tiny budge from way too sensitive to be useful to way too insensitive to be useful. If you put it up to your phone you may think it doesn't work at all but that's because your phone isn't doing anything. Stream a video, make a call, send a text and it will trigger the sweeper because it is transmitting data. Stop and the sweeper stops. I personally think the antenna connection is defective in mine and that is causing the issues described. Idk, some negative reviews are prob do to similar defects and the poor instructions. It is not useless but not very good, at least the one I got.
