The remote control is compatible to the Sharp Aquos tv I got. It provided me with the features I needed, like the sleep timer and be able to switch back and forth to the different inputs so I can use the different electronic devices connected to the tv. It was a good choice for me,

My neighbor gave me a Sharp Aquos and her teenage daughter lost the remote in her landfill of a bedroom but this worked right out of the box for volume control (I have a Firestick, so volume control was all I needed...) Great value, great product and get several if you have teenagers LOL!!

First off, don't spray contact cleaner into your original Sharp remote; it won't work after that. If you do, as I did, order this replacement; it works, and works excellently.
