I wanted a means of displaying TV video from my new Ipad Pro 11 without the high purchase cost of the Apple device. There are many USB C to HDMI adapters out there, but most don't seem to work with the Ipad. This is one of the few that advertises that it does work with the Ipad, and I confirm that it works just fine.

Bought this to output iPad Pro 2018 video and audio in old style presentation rooms that have a 3.5m audio jack and VGA projectors. This does not handle that but it was integrated with a HDMI input splitter cable that does.

Thought I was having a problem with HDCP but was happening on none protected home videos as well. The connection would take initially then say the second screen was disconnecting, then connecting, then disconnecting and just kept cycling.
