AIt can work continuously. Usually, 500cc water PH enhanced to 9.5 and ORP -200 in 10 minutes.

Definitly made my filtered water taste great and refreshing. Water was actually tasting quite delicious. I however did not test the actual pH with testing strip, but the water tasted so sweet and crisp after using a stick in a gallon of water for an hour. Stick made refreshing water for at least 6 months.
